The Croatian Environment Agency is the national focal point for collaboration with the European Environment Agency included in the European Environment Information and Observation Network.

The EIONET is a collaborative network of the EEA and its Member States which provides information for responsible decision-making on environment in Europe and implementation of efficient environmental policies.

The Croatian Environmental Portal provides access and links to environmental online services and information provided by Croatian Environment Agency (CEA)

The Environmental Portal is one of tasks in project Strengthening European Environment Information and Observation Network in the West Balkan Countries, within collaboration with European Environment Agency.

This project funds regular cooperation of the Croatian Environment Agency and European Environment Agency, and enables advancement and setting up of the EIONET network system for the West Balkan countries to a certain extent.
