According to the Regulation on the monitoring of greenhouse gas emissions in the Republic of Croatia (OG No. 01/07) Article 16, paragraph:
(1) The Agency shall be responsible for maintaining the Registry.
(2) Registry maintenance activities comprise:
– maintenance of the accuracy and security of Registry data,
– creation and maintenance of user accounts,
– managing the party account,
– preparing the reports in accordance with the Convention and European Commission regulations,
– publishing information in accordance with the Convention and European Commission regulations.
Who in Croatia participate in Emission Trading Scheme (ETS)?
After determining the list of potential obliged participants according to the ETS's table, Annex I to Directive 2003/87/EC the questionnaires were dispatched for identifying all obliged participants of ETS's. The plants were provided information about their emissions for the period from 2004 to 2007, partially for the 1990, 1995 and 2000 and plans for the 2008, 2012 and 2015 year. The obtained data were checked and the list of 81 plants was made. The list is distributed over 16 different activities in four main sectors. Number of plants per activity is the table below.
